Aphrodisiac

Named after Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love, an aphrodisiac is any substance (food, spice, herb, or drug) believed to enhance sexual desire, arousal, or pleasure. The connotation is more sensual and sensory—aroma, flavor, warmth—rather than tied to clinically proven effects on sexual function. That said, some aphrodisiacs may indeed do both.
