Terroir
Terroir is a French term used to describe the environmental factors, including soil, climate, and topography, that give wine grapes their unique flavor and aroma. It embodies the idea that the land from which the grapes are harvested contributes a distinct character to the wine. This concept extends beyond wine to various agricultural products, such as spices and herbs.
