Marjoram

Marjoram is the herb derived from the leaves of Origanum majorana in the mint family (Lamiaceae). While botanically considered a species of oregano, many in the culinary world treat marjoram as a distinct herb because it’s notably sweeter, more delicate, and less pungent than common oregano (Origanum vulgare).
