Tree Onion

Tree onion is a hybrid of the common onion (Allium cepa) and the Welsh onion (A. fistulosum). Where a common onion has flowers, the tree onion has a cluster of miniature bulbs. Young plants can be used similarly to scallions in the spring, and the bulbs can used similarly to common onions.
